Your missions:

As part of strategic projects for our key accounts and mid-sized clients in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, you will work as a Functional Consultant to support the digital transformation of information systems. You will play a key role between business and technical teams, ensuring that the delivered solutions align with the expressed needs.

Your responsibilities:

Analysis and requirements gathering

• Identify and understand users’ business needs

• Facilitate functional workshops with various stakeholders

• Write functional specifications and user stories

Design and support

• Contribute to defining functional solutions (processes, business rules, interfaces)

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure full understanding of requirements

• Support users during the testing phase (drafting test cases, execution, tracking anomalies)

Support, training, and documentation

• Create training materials and user documentation

• Lead training sessions or change management initiatives

• Provide close functional support after go-live

Continuous improvement and monitoring

• Contribute to discussions on functional enhancements

• Proactively suggest process optimizations and improvements to deployed solutions

• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and technology watch initiatives

Candidate Profile

Graduated from an engineering school, business school, or university program with a specialization in IT or project management, you have at least 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant.

You have:

• Excellent listening and synthesis skills

• Strong rigor in managing deliverables

• A client-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for teamwork

• Good knowledge of modeling tools and ERP or CRM solutions

• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall (V-cycle) methodologies

• A strong interest in IT and innovative solutions

• An entrepreneurial spirit aligned with Afster’s DNA
